from a mission for our church.
She was serving in the Munich,
Germany/ Austria mission.

 This is my family....Natalie has been away for a year and a half so we don't have a picture of just us three girls yet. I will post one soon!

My first entry

This is Spencer, my BFF 

Well! First I want to say thanks for visiting my blog! This is my first time ever doing one of these things. So I'm pretty excited! I think it's a great way to have a journal, or just get your feelings out there. My name is Lauren Schulthess and the reason my name is the Doonester is because when I was little. My grandpa was at the grocery store and he saw these cookies called Lorna Doones, and he thought that should be my nick name so from Doone it become The Doonester! A little bit more about myself, I'm currently working at Bath and Body Works.....but sadly, Jan 1st. will be my last day working there. Because I was a seasonal worker. So I'm going to have to find another job somewhere else. I loved working there, and it was my first job so it's helped me be able to gain some experience. I'm from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And i love my church with all my heart! I love my Savior Jesus Christ. He has done so much for me and I'm thankful for him and everything he did. He is truly our King. I love to hang out with friends and have a good time. Especially watching movies, or playing Wii : ) My bestest friend in the whole world is currently serving his mission in Eugene, Oregon for my church. Boys serve missions for two years at the age of nineteen, and girls can go if they want to at twenty one. Boys urged more to go than girls are. Spencer is his name and he's the most amazing friend I could ask for! I miss him a lot sometimes, but I know that he is doing such a good job preaching to the people of Oregon and that they are taking care of him for me. I have two sisters, Natalie who is twenty six and Valerie who is twenty one. So I'm the baby of the family! I have two loving parents, Loye, and Doug Schulthess. They have sacrificed so much for our family, and I appreciate everything they do. I think this should be enough for my first blog! Until next time!
