Almost six months later......
Wow! Okay, so I thought I would look back on my blog and thought maybe I should do an entry cause I haven't done one in a while. Didn't know my latest entry was in AUGUST!! I have grown so much over these past six months, truly finding myself in this world, and changing the way I am in ways that have made me a completely different and happier person. I have a wonderful job now at the grocery store in my area Publix, and I thank Heavenly Father almost every night for giving me the job that I have. I worked hard to get into Publix, and if it wasn't for my mom pushing me constantly every Monday for six weeks to go in and talk to Gary the store manager, I don't think I would have this job. I'm so grateful for all the new friends I have made at Publix :) they are seriously awesome people and we are truly a little family. Spencer is coming down on the last six months of his mission now, and has grown so much during these two years, it's incredible. He is growing into the man I have always wanted. He probably knows way more about the scriptures than I do now :) I love the Savior with all my heart, and I know He loves me back more than I'll ever know. He has given me everything and I thank Him for that every night. There are days, like this one, where it's sunny, the sky is blue, and it's a crispy seventy degree day and I think to myself, how can people say there is no God? He created this Earth for us, and we should be thankful for it, and take advantage of days like these and say a silent prayer in your heart or mind and thank Him for the beautiful colors, and weather. "I am His daughter, He loves me the way I am, He my strength when I stand, He is my King and my Father. I am His daughter." I love that song so much because it's so true, He does love me for the way I am and wants the best for me and for you also. Don't ever let people think you are worth nothing, because in your Heavenly Father's eyes. You are worth more than the most expensive gem in the world. You are His child forever.

Smile
Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by
If you Smile through your pain and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through
For you
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by
If you Smile through your pain and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through
For you
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time (thats the time) you must keep on trying
Smile- What's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile.
That's the time (thats the time) you must keep on trying,
Smile- What's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile.
Smile though your heart is aching
Smile Even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky- You'll get by
That's the time (thats the time) you must keep on trying
Smile- What's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile.
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time (thats the time) you must keep on trying
Smile- What's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile.
That's the time (thats the time) you must keep on trying,

This song really has helped me for the past couple of days. I have had a hard time lately with trials in my life, and I know that I listened to this song for a reason. Life is truly something that is worthwhile. They are a lot of things we can be happy for :) All you have to do is think of them, and it will make you feel better. I have realized lately, not to think about the worries, but think about the good times, and the good future times as well.

Our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ
When you were a little kid, Easter was the best day ever. You would go to Easter parties with friends and go easter egg huntin' and whoever found the golden egg would get a treat. So every kid was on the parole for finding this golden egg to get a prize which was usually something stupid like another piece of candy, or worse a pencil....seen that prize before in elementary school. Now that I'm older, I realize how important the holiday Easter truly is and what it really means. It's not about the chocolate, or easter eggs you get. It's about our Savior Jesus Christ, and what he did for us. The pain and sorrow he went through for all of us, so that we could live again because of his atonement and sacrifice for us. Can you imagine going through what the Savior went through? I can't possibly imagine it, but all I know is that I love my Savior for what he did for me, and taking my sins, MY sins and being crucified for the sins of the world. It wasn't just the Savior that had to sacrifice his life. It was Heavenly Father also, he had to give up his son to the world to die for mankind. The people reading this that have children, can you think of giving your child up for a sacrifice and leaving them stranded to fend on their own and die for the sins of the world? I know one person that has done it, and it's our Heavenly Father. I think he also should be a special part on this Easter season, and say thank you and express our gratitude towards him for giving his son. My Savior brings so much joy into my life. He tells me that I'm going to be okay, and that he's felt what I'm feeling when I'm sad, frustrated, or even, lonely. That's what I love about the Savior he KNOWS what you've been through because he went through YOUR pain. How incredible and marvelous it is, to know that someone knows exactly what you're going through. And even better, is to know that Christ rose the third day in the tomb, "He is not here, but is risen." Luke 24: 6 What a great day that must have been for Peter and John, to go into the tomb and see that Christ had risen! Christ gave us eternal life, so that we too can live again with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. How it must have been to see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ embrace each other in Heaven. I wish I could have been there to see it, I think it would have been the greatest thing to witness. I know that my Redeemer lives, I know that he is always, always at my side at all times when I need him. I love my Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. And I'm thankful for this wonderful season of Easter, so that we all may be reminded that the Savior died so that we might live.

My Twentieth Birthday!
Yesterday I turned TWENTY I can't believe it! I seriously feel like I'm still suppose to be twelve! I have begun to realize all the important things that have happened to me during my teenage years. Graduation, first dates, getting my license, starting college...I could go on! My teenage years have really shaped me into the person I am today. And I'm proud of who I am today, and will be in the future. I look back and see that I really did have some great days and years of my life. And it doesn't stop there! I have more to come in my twenties. To think about the next ten years of my life, almost scares me, because I could be married, and have children on my thirtieth birthday! But I don't want to think about that just yet. I want to think about how I am now, and the years soon to come. I know I have a lot ahead of me in the next couple of years, and I'm ready for them! I'm excited to start becoming a Marine Biologist, and being in Oceanography this semester, I'm like a little kid in a candy store. I've never read a text book as much as I do with my Oceanography book! I love it so much. The ocean is a great and interesting place to explore! If I could I would just stay in the ocean my entire life, and never come out again! It's like Ariel's song "Part of that world" instead I'm singing about the ocean....let's trade places Ariel! : ) I excited for these next few years to come, and like I said, I'm ready for whatever comes at me. I have gone through some hard trials in my life, and I know that if I have Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ on my side, I can get through anything. This blog is the beginning of the next ten years of my life and how I will change and progress. Follow me through these years and let's see what happens together!

Puppies heal the heart
So yesterday my girls Allie, Sarah, and I got to go to my friend Alex's house and saw the cutest Labrador puppies!! There were five black colored girls. They were so playful and about two months old. I realized when we were there with them, they really do make you forget all the worries you have in your life right then and just be able to play with these innocent puppies! They all had different personalities which I loved! Some were outrageous and would randomly jump on their sister and start biting her ear, or some would just chill and lie on the ground and be biting a piece of wood, or grass. My favorite one was the little girl who when Alex would put the water down for them to drink, would literally put her arms and whole face into the water and splash it around making her a little wet ball of fluff making her look adorable! If you ever get a chance to see and visit a litter of puppies, I highly recommend it....it really helps you feel better if you are sad or having a hard day. They seriously heal your heart without them realizing it.
